I've had some sewing projects on my mind for a while now and so I took the plunge the other day and bought my first sewing machine. I joined here because I needed a place where I could ask questions and I knew I was going to have plenty, lol.

Glad to meet all of you and hopefully I can learn a thing or two while I'm here.

Hi Hogmami. Sorry, but I'm a little leery about giving out the name of the town where I live in an open forum.

Just wonder if you were near me and maybe I could be of some help. I understand why you don't want to give out where you live.

Hogmami: I sent you a PM :)

pretnichols: Thank you :)

temom: Thanks. I have a personal project I've been wanting to do for a while now. It always seemed too complicated to learn how to sew, but then when you want something that no one else can make you don't really have a choice. Hopefully with this machine I can do that.

cshortsew: Thanks :)
