Welcome Fay! Looks like you will fit right in with all those machines. "Some" of us do have that addiction here as well. I have working & non-working machines but still like having them.

:coffee2: :coffee2: Gotta have my joe this a.m. I like to work on small projects such as totes and all sorts of things like plastic bag holders and Note pad holders which the pattern I designed. I also make FSL bowls and things. I have made casserole carriers out of quilted place mats also. Those are so easy to make and can be made in less than an hour , depending on how long it will take to stitch out a design. Any way that's about it. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay

Hi bobbinchick. I've lived in Sequim for 2 years and also prefer small projects - it's a lack of patience and skills thing for me.

Where do you buy your fabric in this area?

Welcom to this great forum. I've learned so much from these super sewers, they are so helpful and talented.

:pc: Sequim has a new Walmart that opened up about two years ago. I don't know if it has a fabric dept or not. I've been in there only one time. Ours in PortAngeles still has their fabric dept , but the store will be moving acroos the road ( Hwy 101) Where the old K-Mart used to be. They are going to tear down those buildings there and build a new Walmart. I usually buy my fabric at Walmart or go to Joanns. We have a Bay Variety that has fabric , but it isn't a very big choice of fabric. The Quilted Strait has a lot of bueatiful fabrics, but they are a bit pricey so the only thing I go in ther for is batting or other quilting items. It's fun to look tho. My folks live in Sequim in the Summer months and in Arizona during the Winter months. So they'll be up here I think in early May. I have a lot of stuff in my stash that I've been trying to use up. Have a great day, huggies, Fay
