Hi all, Am new to this forum... I joined in the hopes of learning bunches. I'm an intermediate-beginner type at the machine but have been sewing steady for about 3 years. Still at that lower level cause I've mostly done home-dec., but am now getting back into kids (and some adult) clothing that I hadn't sewn for decades so I have SO much to learn!! I have to - with 7 machines up and running I need to know everything (or at least half of everything)!  The first place I visit on sewing forums is the classifieds. I love vintage fabrics & notions so am always on the lookout for them! Tonight I noticed someone here had wanted buttons a short time back so thought I'd let y'all know... I have thousands and thousands of buttons if anyone runs into a situation where they just can't find the right one(s). Mine are mostly vintage... some very old, many many from the 30's & 40's... a few newer. All colors, all types. Rhinestones, Bakelites & other plastics, MOPs, designed MOPs, wood, metals, glass & Czech-glass, Holiday-types, kids, you name it I'm almost sure to have it. Lots of matching sets. Lots still on cards. A few years ago I was heavy into collecting them.. buying up large lots of buttons at the markets, estate sales and on ebay... you wouldn't believe all the buttons I ended up with before I finally called it quits. I'm not interested in selling separate LOTS... just if someone needs 4 or 12 of a certain kind, color or fashion, and I have it, you're welcome to email me for pics. I like to be able to help people so thought I'd put this offer out there. I wouldn't be charging an armenaleg.. an approximate *few* dollars (to be discussed) and shipping would be actual (which would be minimal considering the light weight). My health is kinda crappy so it may take a week before I can get them and the pics together for your perusal... if you have a need please write as soon as you know. Unfortunately I'm not too great with "last-minute" details nowdays. Happy Sewing!! momrose ~~~~~
