Hi there

I had some nice embroidered sari fabric that I am making into a shift style dress for my mum.

This simple design has no waistline seam, with bust darts and a cb zip. After fitting it is too roomy around the upper back area, i thought that if I added some double ended darts to the back , it may rectify this problem. Could anybody explain the method of sewing double ended darts, or suggest an alternative method to shaping the dress in the upper back area?

Thankyou
Brooke
