I bought "Childs play" from Wild Ginger . I printed out a boxer shorts pattern and I don't think there are enough instructions to tell me what to do with all the pieces.Help! I cant seem to figure out how to get an image of the parts to you?? I know the front, back and gussett pieces. but there is another piece, sort of like a plaket with a point at one end and blunt/straight across at the other. I guess it is part of the fly but the fly seems to be cut as part of the front pattern piece. |

A facing for the fly? Is there more than one view to the pattern?

no only one view. i love being able to put in measurements and print a pattern but i may have bit off more than i can chew. may not have enough details to put things together with my level of inexperience. Grandma C Oh they e-mailed me and told me it was a lineing for the fly but no instructions. I wonder if it will work if, I use the instructions for the pants with fly zipper but leave off the zipper |

The placket is often cut as one piece on front pattern piece and then the top is folded back. The underneath portion of the placket goes across the opening from behind. That is probably the lining to the back piece.
