Good evening all I have a stayorfoam round board that is about 10 inches round, I am going to have to cover it , I need to know how I would fix it so I can take the cover off to be washed. I am attempting to learn Bobbin Lace Making and I need to make a cover for the board. there is about an inch to 2inches to the sides. Help thanks Pinkroses. I know I have a guradian angel watching over me. I am very gratefull. PINKROSES

The couple suggestions that come to mind right off are either pin the fabric into the styrofoam on the back or maybe put elastic in so it will slip on and off the styrofoam. Hope that helps.

Put the board onto the piece of fabric you wish to cover with it. Trace around the circle. Measure the depth of your board (2") then add 2-3" and cut out the circle that much larger than you traced. Cut some elastic about 2/3 (or less if elastic is not really stretchy) of the circumference of the cut fabric. Fold you circle into quarters and mark elastic into quarters. Pin elastic to outside of fabric and stitch stretching elastic as you go around the quarters until finished. Slip onto the styrofoam. And off you go!!
