Hello everyone. I am new to embroidery and have found your messages to be helpful, yet I too am having trouble with my new brother se270d. It sews wonderfully and very easy to use. However, the embroidery part is not going so great. I have ruined 2 shirts now and continue to get the shuttle (or bobbin) area all clogged up with the top thread. My stabilizer (iron on, peel off) also continues to get torn. I have read the manual many times and am not sure how to correct this problem. I should say that my 1st try went perfect and now I can't figure it out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks - I can't wait to get it right!. |

I'm wondering if maybe you don't have some thread or fluff stuck in your bobbin area??? I was having a horrible time with my machine, and I finally pulled out the bobbin case, cleaned really good inside, put in a new needle, rethreaded everything and it worked fine. Good luck! I know how totally frustrating that can be!
