but it felt sooo good. But I blew my New Year's resolution not to buy more fabric. My daughter and I have been keeping an eye out for Disney fabrics so I can make a wardrobe for my granddaughter's first trip to Disney World in Nov. Well today we walked into JoAnn's (just to get some trims and elastic) and there was all sorts of Disney prints. Of course I had to buy some.

Carol, I think you did very well considering it's been 4 months! Be proud. How many dieters or smokers do you think are still keeping their resolutions? Besides there is nothing harmful about fabric shopping except maybe to the wallet and storage space your house has to offer. You will definitely not cause any other kinds of harm to anyone or yourself! You will only make people happy and be a happier person yourself. Lennie (Did I do good??? :bg |

I want you to be my support person Lennie - as soon as I think of a resolution I don't really want to keep. Carol - it wasn't fabric to add to the stash for no particular reason - so it doesn't really count. Sew your Mickey Mouses with a clear conscience. Pauline

I have found that if I talk myself out of buying a great fabric that I want, I will regret it later. Especially if it's on sale. Same goes with patterns. |

I agree with you Bama. I have had many occasions to regret not buy a fabulous piece of fabric at the time I saw and it and later went back and there either was enough to do anything with or there was none at all. Now, I just go ahead and buy it, knowing that down the road, I'll find a project to use it for. Patsy Patsy

Years ago I made a New Years resolution and I remake it every year. My New Years Resolution is NEVER MAKE ANOTHER NEW YEARS RESOLUTION. I have no problem keeping it. Buying more fabric isn't breaking a New Years Resolution, it is investiong in your future. At least that is the excuse I use when I just have to have that piece of material. jessie s |
