Okay-first off I make my own patterns. ![]() ![]() This is them together- http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l43/diannaleigh/102_0063.jpg http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l43/diannaleigh/102_0101.jpg Zoe's outfit is a mock wrap top (I LOVE THIS FABRIC!) and a pair of jeans with some hand embroidery with some specialty yarn. Which was hard to do because the yarn had slubs. ![]() http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l43/diannaleigh/102_0104.jpg http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l43/diannaleigh/100_0604.jpg - on the form to give you a slight idea ![]() Kammie is wearing a peasant top and gaucho pants. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l43/diannaleigh/102_0102.jpg http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l43/diannaleigh/102_0107.jpg I will post better pics later, I promise! ![]() |

I think you did a wonderful job! ![]() Did you use any books in particular to guide you in your patternmaking? How did you go about it? I've altered patterns, but have never really made my own for clothes. Take care,

Your girls and their outfits are very cute! I love the orange mock wrap top especially! You do a great job and the girls look like they are having fun wearing their new outits!

Do you do patterns for yourself also. It seems you are talented and enterprising. By the time the girls are ready for formals and wedding dresses you willl be ready. They remind me of my sister and myself. I was the rounder child. They are preceous. ( how is that spelled?) |

Diana - they are lovely outfits. As are your girls! As it is very grey here in the north and it is Easter I am joyed to see all the colour!! I never had much luck making patterns for my daughter when she was little but do do my own when I am feeling patient. I am looking for a new top soon and I rather like the orange design. Thanks for the idea as well as the picture! You should be proud.
