When in embroidery mode how do i move my needle from the far left to the center? My needle keeps hitting the plate and breaking.

I have to get some quilts embroidered today.....I am desperate.

Is it hitting the plate or the foot? Do you have the embroidery foot on? I have the Ellageo but have never had to move the needle (and not sure how even if I needed to move it)

Not having this machine, I'm not sure if this helps or not, but do you have the right foot on??

Every time I have had needles hitting plates and breaking it has meant that my machine had a timing problem, and it always goes in for service.

Just my experience, but there may also maybe other reasons.
Cheers, Soph.

I'm happiest when I am sewing!
