A California girl name of Lennie Whose UFO projects were many Was decidedly keen On her sewing machine With fabulous features aplenty She decided to post things online She picked out a forum so fine And at SWN She made lots of friends Who loved her to bits in no time She was online all day and all night The sewing was going alright And Lennie’s big mouth Was known north and known south And her projects would also excite Her new friends just wanted to say How much we enjoy having her stay So Best Wishes we drawl From one and from all And to Lennie – Happy Birthday! Do you really think Jan? Not much guaranteed to get me to look faster. I just think she's too cagey to post and let me know for sure. Of course it would be rude not to acknowledge all the good wishes sent her way.  Somebody might need to post a proper birthday message so she doesn't explode with frustration. Pauline

Pauline! I figured you for a stinker and now you've proven it!! I saw your post late afternoon yesterday and figured it had something to do with my b'day. (I'd just as soon skip it, any takers??)I honestly tried not to look but then my curser opened up the "sneak peek" feature and I couldn't turn away. I HAD to see what was there. You are all so very sweet and genuinely make me sit here with a big, silly grin on my face. I am spending the day pretty much alone. I was going to accompany dh on a trip that would have taken ALL day with hours and hours of driving but as I've been sleeping horribly for days now and feel like crappola I chose to stay home today. I did find a couple of b'day cards hidden away in obvious (?) places from dh.  I'll give dd a call soon (it's only 9:00 a.m.) since she was going to look after the animals and hopefully see her but I know she's got a farewell bbq to attend this afternoon. I see that Barbara (Anza) posted too. I do feel so special. Love and kisses to everyone! Lennie

Forgot to add, Pauline, LOVED the poem. I don't think anyone's ever written a poem for little ol' me. I met dd at a little tea cottage in town and had some tea, lunch and then did some touristy shopping around. Funny when you live in a tourist town how seldom you actually go into the shops.  I've heard from family and friends and now I just have to wonder if ds remembers... He's a great guy but not big on remembering special dates. Thanks again everyone. Lennie |

Thanks, but I did have to call ds and gently give him hell for not remembering his dear mother's b'day! It was about 8 p.m. and I decided to be pro-active and not sit here with hurt feelings wondering if he was going to remember.  All in all it was a fine day but poor dh didn't get home till almost 1 in the morning. I'm so glad I didn't go with him. Thanks everyone! Lennie |
