Today, DD and DS and I went to Cleveland to see the "Princess Diana Celebration" that is on tour around the United States. It was AMAZING!!!!
I loved seeing her childhood letters to her parents, her ballet shoes, childhhood pictures and even home movies.
The "Wedding Dress" was on display with it's 25' train.
They had may other outfits on display also. I was able to look closely at the workmanship, all I can say is "Beautiful". Every outfit that had a zipper you could see that they where sewn in by hand. But all the "detailing" with the beads was just AMAZING!!!! She was considered tall at 5'10" but very slim for the size of the clothes.
From my understanding this is the last stop before it goes back to England. If they bring it around again, go!!!! All the $$$'s go to her Foundation and then split up to her various organizations she supported ( at least that is what they tell you on the tour).
