this is copied from another group, but I think its important to pass along....
"Many of you know Snowlady Designs aka as Allene Snow. But many of you may not know that Allene had a problem on her way home from Las Vegas last week. Her car was broken into, rear windows broken out and her samples stolen, along with her digitizing software dongle, CDs of designs, Embroidery machine, Hard drive and tons of other things including her dirty clothes. Allene needs all these things to keep her business up and running. Allene is a wonderful digitizer and I know many of you love her designs and I just wanted to say that if you have been thinking of some designs that you wanted to purchase from Allene,
then this would be a very good time to do so. " Allene's website is

www.snowladydesigns.com Allene is one of the nicest people I have ever met... truly... if you have ever thought of buying any of her designs... now would probably be a great time... I have many of her vintage style designs and her angels, and I can tell you that they stitch out beautifully...

Mo, So sweet of you to want to help her out. I'll check out the site.

Good luck to her. Can't imagine that most people would see the value of what was stolen.

the reality is... most of the stuff they took from her van they will probably just ditch... as you said... a lot of it wouldn't have much value to anyone other than an embroiderer. I helped her pack her van last year at the end of IEC and believe me, it is jam packed with her machine, computer, register, samples, cd's etc... I sure hope she has good insurance, but we all know, there is always stuff that insurance just won't cover,,, or will only cover the present value, not the replacement value... And anybody who has ever met Allene at any kind of conference will tell you she is just a super nice person....
