Good morning everyone. I hope your weekend was fun and relaxing. Today my sewing tip is about something you should do for yourself. Every six months or so make yourself something really special. Something that will make you feel great! It can be a formal dinner suit or a pretty nightie. The choice is yours. Whatever you make, do your best work and use a wonderful fabric that you love. This is something you deserve. MaryW

Dear Mary, I read your column faithfully & really enjoy it. Wish I had your talent, but I just keep striving. I wanted to thank you for that tip about every 6 months to make something for yourself & do your best work. I agree that all of us that sew for our families need that "special touch for ourselves" , thank you for reminding us of that. |

Mary, Thanks so much for reminding us again. I keep forgetting this & tell myself I really don't have time anyway. Well a reminder like this tells me I DO! & I can find it because I do deserve it. drMolly, the BeanQueen |

I so need to be reminded of this perhaps I should print this and post it in my living room or something. I do too much for everyone else and neglect me. JoAnn in Cantral AR |

We have to wait 6 months?????????? LOL!!!!!!!!!! I do this once a month!!!!!! If I don't have time to make me something, I at least head to the fabric store for shopping for me!! HE HE!! One of the best gifts to give a child/grandchild is your listening ear.
