There are lots of things I don't like about Project Runway but I do like Tim Gunn. I've just read the first chapter of his new book and really liked it. Has anyone read the whole book?

How can anyone not like Tim Gunn? What a gentleman.

Thanks for the tip.

Love Tim Gunn and the Project Runway show. I was pleased to hear that they were interviewing for Season 4
but did not say when the new season starts. I'm sure Tim Gunn being on Project Runway has increased enrollment at his school. I love reading the contestants blogs on www.bravotv.com and have subscribed to some of their email newsletters. I learn something new each time I watch the re-runs and I think it helps to improve my sewing skills.

From what I have heard, this guy is wonderful. I should look into a copy of his book.

His name has been cropping up everywhere lately.
Living in France, I'm not even sure what Project Runway is. :nervous: I feel like I'm missing out on something big!
Hopefully his book is available on Amazon.fr :bluewink:

Isabelle,
Project Runway is a "Survivor" type show for clothing designers.. They start out with 12 or 15 unknowns or slightly knowns and eliminate one each week.. They have a panel of judges that are well known Designers and Magazine editors.. Each week the designers are given an assigned project; a time limit; and a budgeted amount to spend on fabric..They have a live model to model the finished products.. I have only seen season 2 and 3. I don't like those survivor type shows normally, and only watch this one to see Tim and listen to how tactful he is.. I really have to admire his self control from time to time..
