I just recently purchased a sewing machine. Any and all tips/hints will be exceedingly appreciated. I am looking forward to learning how to sew. (sew anything at this point) heh heh heh I <3 U

Hi Naomii, I read your post and your profile. It's great to see young people taking an interest in sewing. What's great about this site is that there are forums on this site about subjects other than sewing ( when your just in the mood to have a talk), after that you might feel up to sewing up a storm. I'm from Nova Scotia Canada and I find it very interesting that no matter where we all live, there are so many things we all have in common. By the way, my husband (ex-husband) was in the military for 32 years so I know how the hours are long and lonely at times so keep your chin up. This will only make you a more independant, strong woman that will serve you well into your future. Having your husband gone for long periods is part of your life now so I hope you have a few good friends to lean on from time to time. Welcome and best of luck. Ruth |
