And here in  screech is usually associated with Newfoundland.

| Thank you so much I had a wonderful day...Screech is a Jamacian Rum.If you go to a pub and your not from this Province you are Screeched in.To do this a person has to drink an ounce of this rum without any mix and kiss a dead Cod Fish.They kiss the fish if they survive the Rum,which burns your stomach as it goes down...I don't drink so I have never tried it.I have seen some weird faces on the person drinking it. |
