I bought some very pretty linen for capris. I want to interline to help cut down on wrinkling. Do you think I could use a very thin, light cotton for this and not compromise the cool aspect. It would also cut down on the knees stretching out of shape I think. Any suggestions?

Mary cotton batiste, if you can find it, makes a wonderful lightweight liner. Patsy Patsy

Don't I know it but it is as much or more than linen.

How about cotton voile? It is sooo thin and soft. It _could_ ride up your legs b/c it is so light, so it might be a good idea to make those little thread chains to anchor it loosely inside the hem of the pant legs. I haven't been paying attention to which e-tailers are preferred in Canada, but here's one offering: cotton voile at Dharma Trading (http://www.dharmatrading.com/html/eng/3501-AA.shtml)

Fabricland here in BC has had cotton voile for a reasonable price last year and this year.
