Good day everyone and welcome to all my new members and subscribers. Today I have a tip about your sewing machine. Are you going away on vacation this summer? If so, book a spa time for your machine. Have it cleaned, oiled and any repairs made while you are away. When you come back your machine will await you. Until next week, have a great time sewing. MaryW

Yes, that's a very smart tip. Now I just need to convince my DH we need to get away for a while, too. Sherry in Texas |

Let's see if I understand this correctly, Mary. Last time I sent my machine out for a tune-up it ended up being gone 6 1/2 weeks. Does this mean my vacation should last 6 1/2 weeks? Hmmm. That could be fun. Good tip. Lennie |

well.... my tuneup only took 2 days!! and it is running like a top and much quieter too, and the pins are out which is always a good thing I've cleaned my machine myself but this was worth the $55 to get it fixed up, too bad it took Jamie trying to destroy it to motivate me to take it to the dealer!!

Yay for Patsy! Hope you two have many happy years together. Jeanette, you're so lucky. I paid $165.00 to get mine "tuned up". I guess they discovered a timing problem (probably from me forcing uber heavy materials) and that seemed to be costly. They didn't even check the embroidery unit. If I could count on $55. I'd do it every year. Lennie |
