New to this posting thing, & yes I've been lurking for awhile. I've been sewing for quite a time, lately school clothes for my 5 year old. I started sewing when I was 5, I would sew doll clothes for my two younger sisters. Love this site, I needed some girly input everything in my house is male. The dad, the child & the rottweiler. |

Welcome. Glad you spoke up. You probably already know that this site is not all female. We have several gentlemen that share their knowledge and expertise in the sewing arena with us from time to time. Hope you enjoy our cyber home. Patsy Patsy

HI and welcome. Know what you mean. Had six animals and a husband, all male, all neutered. Still have them all but was thrilled to pieces when we found a puppy out back of our house 1 1/2 years ago. I said, "If it's a female, she can stay." She was and she did and I'm thrilled to have another female in the house. This site is awesome for all your needs, sewing, girl talk, everything. Glad to have you on board, girlie! Lennie |

Hello and welcome! I understand how you feel. One year when we went on vacation it was me, dh, ds, and another boy who was a friend of the family. By the end of that week, I went to the grocery store and was so relieved to intereact with a female that I almost hugged the casheir! I had never experienced that before. Fortunately for me, we are now and equal home with 1 son and 1 daughter.

Hi and welcome to the group. Our household has 1 DD, 1 DH, 1 male dog, and me. However, for the summer, DD is working 150 miles away. My DH likes to de-stress from work by cooking, cleaning and doing laundry. He's not into sports. Works for me as it gives me more sewing time. Guess I'm just spoiled by it all. Marty |
