I'm so pleased, I had to share! I found a recipe on line for a solution to remove red wine that is truly amazing - it totally works - 1/2 part New Dawn liquid detergent and 1/2 part hydrogen peroxide. While out for a celebratory dinner with my husband, he knocked over his glass of merlot - it hit me like a tsunami, all over my new white cotton jacket. I mixed up the formula poured it over the jacket - left it overnight and washed it the next morning. It was magic, and apparently this will work on old red wine and tea stains as well. I have a couple of table cloths that are going to get the treatment. According to the website, this formula out performed everything from salt, white wine, club soda and even commerical stain removers.
