Good morning everyone and welcome to my new subscribers. I hope you can benefit from some of the tips given in our little newsletter.

Today my sewing tip is on how to remove water marks from satin. Take a blow dryer and dry the spot. Rub it gently while drying. Be very sure to rub with the grain, never against it.

Until next week, enjoy the lovely weather and happy sewing as well.

Hey if anyone has more than enough nice weather, please send some of it to Oklahoma. We're beginning to grow oily feathers out here.

So I wet the spot again and then dry as you suggested? Or is this just to prevent spotting if you happen to get the satin wet?

Also, does this work with rayon? I've got some dark brown rayon that I was going to use for a lining, so I figured I'd just ignore the spots, but if this technique also works for rayon, I'll have to give it a try.

Thanks

That tip is for preventing the spot. Rayon is a different animal altogether.
