Hi everyone, greeting from NC. I am having a heck of a time finding a good digitizer. I have tried 3 and the art work that I send to them comes back looking very cheap and nothing like I even sent them. The stich outs that they send to me as samples are horrid to say it nicely. I just want to send the design of my husbands hat to them, get it digitized exactly the way it looks and sent back to me. Of course after I pay for it. I know that it can be done because before I started my own business (Im still a newbie) he had some hats made. Much to my dismay, the person who did his hats does not "remember" who she sent them to. Please help if you can... Deb |

Deb. I have found that when I send something to a commercial digitizer I almost always have to clean it up or completely re-do it. I think most of them are probably using "Auto Digitizers" which don't do that great a job. Maybe someone on the board that digitizes will respond. Otherwise you may just have to digitize it yourself. There are some very good and very easy to use programs these days. I prefer 4D but there are other good ones out there.
Have fun or don't do it, Tom

Thanks so much. I don't digitize nor do I really want to as of right now. I did touch on some digitizing in a class that I took but my interest was just not there. I want to sew and outsource the designs. So any help that ANYONE can give me I would just love it. Deb |

Before I knew how to digitize- i used http://www.digitizingexpress.com/ You get your first one free- so it may be something you'd want to look into. They specialize in headwear too. I can take a look at your logo for you and see what I can do if that dont work out and you still need help. Stef May your bobbin always be full-
