Discovered this forum this morning and decided to jump in. I am a VA native who moved to NC 7 years ago. I am a widow with grown children, a daughter (single) and a son (married). I've been sewing since I was 8 having learned on my grandmother's hand-me-down treadle machine. I've resumed sewing a lot over the last year since being widowed and have purchased two new sewing machines and a serger. I work as an administrative assistant.
I look forward to getting to know everyone here!

Mostly clothing for myself. I do alterations for a few people. And I work on costumes for church pageants, etc. Years ago I ran my own small custom sewing and alterations business. I'm waiting for grandchildren to sew for.
