I recently acquired some of this fabric and was wondering if anyone had experience working with it, and advice to share before I begin. I found care instructions on the manufacturer's website but haven't found much in the way of sewing tips, so if any special tricks would be worth knowing, I'd appreciate it!!

TIA!

Is that the fabric that is used for bathing suits or outdoor play suits that is like a sunblock?

playsuits, yes. swimsuits, no. It's a loose weave with a slightly rough texture.

This is news to me, never heard of it. Can you wash/dry like other fabrics?

I think I know what you mean, I knew someone whose son was allergic to the sun and he had suits made up of a loosely woven fabric from head to toe, including hoods. But I never ever took a very close look at it at all. Good luck with the search!
