Both are Vogue patterns. I'm hoping it will be nice and cool.

Looks cool Mary! Do you get summers warm enough up there in the Great White North? The collar looks like it went togther well, v. smart.

I like the sneak peek of the old Singer collection.

Love that, Mary. I'm sure that color looks great on you with your coloring. It's one of my favorites also.

I am also surprised that you'd be looking especially to stay cool. Didn't know you got much hotter than just warm........

My colors as well Mary...It's beautiful.Wish I could sew for me....Imagine those girls thinking we don't have hot days here....Well so far it's still cold here...If we could figure out how to shift the ice from the Atlantic to those guys.....Never mind while their basking in the sun waiting for a breeze,we still have the flannelette sheets on the bed...Happy Summer you guys

It is never gonna be HOT here but at 75 F. we are more than happy. It is all relative to us, we love the cool. :bluesmile

Gee, Mary, you didn't say that in January.

Looks really nice, Mary! That would be perfect here for the weather we get for a good part of the year. I would love to make things like that for myself, but have not had much success with sewing my own. It was much more satisfying to sew for the kids...they were easy. :bluesmile

Is the blouse a button-up? It sorta looks so at the top, but not at the bottom...With the print, it is hard to tell in the picture.
Take care,
Donna

We love the cool, not the cold. It is very rarely what you consider "hot" here. Anything over 80 is uncommon. I am still having the hot flashes so cool is a must right now.

Yes, it is button up Donna. I am going to make a short sleeved one next with matching capris. The blouse pattern is easy Vogue 2634. I have them laid out now.

Love the outfit, Mary. You've inspired me to go sew some summer things for myself. Which I'm finding easier with my new dress form! :bg:

Very cute Mary, I really like the blouse. I did buy some fabric for some short sleeved blouses a few weeks ago, guess I should get it out and get cutting.

Cute outfit and just perfect for this weather we're having in the South. My legs are too thick to look good in Capri's but I love the colors. The blouse is a perfect match to the pants. Good job!!!

Very nice - I must have missed them when they were posted. It's the sort of outfit that could be really versatile - cool and casual or just a bit dressy.

I hope that coral comes back here next summer - I haven't seen any in the shops for a couple of years and it's one of my favourites too. I often resent the way we're all compelled to follow fashion because of availability issues.
