This is in honor of all you Dancing With The Stars fans. It is ballroom dancing, right?
It has a sleeve for a dowel to hang it from and I might put buttons where the corners all meet to hide that, well, they don't all meet.
But I'm happy with it.

Hi Dorothy, I'm not a big fan of Dancing with the Stars but love the quilt! It's a Rob Peter to Pay Paul design isn't it? Love the rickrack you added-certainly adds that little punch!!

The rick rack made it easy to turn the circles.
It's not a quilt. It's a thing. A quilt-like thing I'll grant you but I don't make quilts.

Is that like a knitting type thing, Dorothy?

Any excuse to put buttons on something!

Buttons? I think that would just be too much for that quilt. I like it the way it is. If you were going to add to it, maybe little gold bows where they meet... but not buttons.

looks quilt-y to me! ;-)

I love the colors. Your corners are fine; no need to add buttons unless you want to.

Very cute!

Yeah, I decided to leave well enough alone. No buttons.
And, Jan, I am getting this knitting thing down. Mostly I still make things -- but they are cool things.

Oh my gosh, she's gone over to the other side!! Great job Dorothy, it's really nice, and I like the rickrack on the 'thing' too.

There are three reasons it is not a quilt.

1) It isn't large enough to cover even a baby.

2) I isn't quilted.

3) I made it and I don't make quilts!

Thank you all for your kind words. It is so nice to have a place to show off the THINGS we make, isn't it.

I'm not a fan of the show - but the THING is pretty cool. You'd better be careful though - the subtle and pervasive influence of all the quilters is obviously getting to you.
