I have altered patterns using the full bust adjustment for my 'girls' and do quite well making my patterns fit. I am starting a princess seam dress and I am unsure if I should cut the piece in half so I am not slashing a realllyyyy long pattern piece, or just go ahead and slash the entire length of the front side section. Has anyone used an FBA on a princess seam dress before?

TIA

You slash all the way across and pivot on the sides. The center piece is raised to the correct depth all the way across and it stays in place. The "dart" is hidden in the side pieces, as with all princess dresses..

That is what I thought, it was just the thought of slashing such a long piece gave me the shivers:sick:
I keep you posted as to how my progress goes.
