The Barefoot Contessa was baking an orange chocolate chunk cake with an orange sauce and chocloate ganache!!!! I just went and printed the recipe. She is also making lobster salad rolls today. Patsy Patsy

The lobster rolls sound nice. Missed my chance to try them when we visited the East Coast a year ago but I've heard that they are wonderful ~ very rich. Orange and chocolate is a wonderful combination. Raspberries and chocolate too. Guess I like chocolate but just not terribly. Lennie |

Patsy, I love the Barefoot Contessa show. At Christmas I got the most wonderful recipe for coconut thumbprints, using jams as filler, everyone loved them. I will have to check out the chocolate orange cake...

I really like most of her recipes. She seems to use mostly down to earth ingredients that are available to the majority of us. Some of the cooking shows use ingredients that if you bought them to make that particular recipe, would cost you a mint. For instance, for her chocolate ganache, she uses regualr chocolate chips instead of a specialty chocolate that if I could find it, I would probably be unwilling to pay the price for it. Patsy Patsy
