Would someone PLEASE tell me when this show is on? I have spent over two hours on HGTV.com trying to find when this show is televised. The DIY channel mainly shows home improvement/remodeling episodes so that didn't help any.
I have Comcast as my cable provider.
Thanks for any help!
- Maureen.

When Sandra Betzina visited our ASG chapter in 2004, we asked about her show. She said that it is no longer being aired (except re-runs on some channels). In our community, all fashion sewing shows have been removed for the most part. We get 1 garment show a week (Sewing with Nancy) on PBS plus a quilting show. There are lots of craft shows and home dec stuff on the DIY channel and on the HGTV channel. I also check out the Bravo channel for Project Runway. The TLC channel has started a new show on deconstructing garments called "I've Got Nothing to Wear". Right now, the timing is inconsistent in our area. This is why I buy sewing books and look for videos and DVD's. Sorry that I couldn't provide more encouragement for you.

Sew Perfect was cancelled a few years back. It's too bad.

I just noticed we are not getting Susan Khalji any more. She was never my favorite but sometimes there were good guests or interesting things on her show. It was all we had around here except a bunch (I mean a bunch) of quilt shows and Nancy Zieman who offers little to interest me.
I loved Sandra Betzina's show. I learned so much from her.

Can her shows be gotten off of a torrent somewhere?

Here is Sandra Betzina's website. I think you have to join and pay a fee to actually read anything on there though. http://www.sandrabetzina.com/

Nope, no fee. She has stopped her newsletters. That is what she charged for.

Thanks so much for the replys! I had an inkling the show was off the air. I may start looking around at some of the sewing DVDs available.
I've seen the show "I've got nothing to wear" and boy, I wouldn't want any of those "designers-in-training" rummaging around in my closet. I saw the first show where this Asian student ripped up the woman's jacket and all that was left in the end was a very ugly clutch purse.

Thanks Mary. I should have read her entire board, but didn'[t. Her fee was pretty steep, if I remember correctly, to read those columns and I never joined but I did watch her show for several years when I was at home and she was on. Too bad, she is a very talented sewists and I too learned a kit from watching her shows.

Dorothy, Susan Khalji's show "Sew Much More" was on DIY here and a couple of weeks ago, I started missing it as well. (I tried to DVR her shows so I could watch them when I had time.) I can't remember where I saw this, but it seems that Susan's show, as well as "Simply Quilts" has been moved back to HGTV. I believe "Sew Much More" will begin airing on October 8 at 8 a.m. Eastern time. At this point, I don't know if it is only going to air once a week or more, but at least there will be a sewing show on tv somewhere!

I am glad they are bringing the sewing/quilting shows back on early in the morning. Since I'm not in the eastern time zone, they work out well for me to watch with some hot tea after everyone is out of the house. It was always a good way to start the day.

The PBS station were I live now doesn't carry much in the way of sewing shows either. So, I really miss watching them.
