I'm so excited about this!! This is my first one, and it's really starting to sink in that "I can sew!!!" I can't believe it! One of the pics looks faded, I don't know what's wrong w/my camera, but the first one is the best.

Now, any ideas on what kind of top to make to go with it?

Did you get the directions for that skirt at YouCanMakeThis.Com?
I think it's adorable. Your daughter looks very proud to show off what mom made for her.
As for the top for it, the peasant style top with the corset to go over it is very cute. Or you could find a sleeveless shirt in a cordinating color and add angel wings in tulle.
The instructions for those are on YCMT.com as well.

You did a great job on the skirt!

I've been making these all summer for my gd's and they really really like the corset top that they show with it. So maybe one of those, they are simple to make and lots of fun. The skirt is great, your charming daughter looks like she loves it. Good job mom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How pretty the skirt is and the little model! I think a cute tank top or sleeveless T-shirt would go very well with it. You could even trim it using some of the tulle. Great job on a cute outfit.

Thanks for the comments.

I think this is similar to the YCMT pattern. But, I don't have the corset pattern. I do have a peasant top pattern that I might use. I need to do something, b/c it's just sitting in the sewing room, she hasn't worn it yet. Hopefully, I can get something made soon.
