I have just bought a Singer CE200 Quantum Futura. Have laptop with Windows Vista on it. Had untold endless problems loading autopunch onto desktop with XP, but finally managed it with a "patch". but the patch for Vista does not seem to work. any ideas anyone? thanks Lisa |

I haven't had anybody yet that was able to get it to work on Vista. Hopefully Singer will come out with a better patch.
Have fun or don't do it, Tom

doesn't this just pee you off? i'm so annoyed. i was so excited. new machine...new laptop. all my christmas's at once and all that! but NO!! I'm going to email Singer and give them a piece of my mind. so sick of software incompatibility issues. I had trouble getting it to work on XP but 3 or 4 hours in, it finally worked. funny thing is...i still don't know what i did to get it to work. LOL Lisa |

Lisa Singer has just come out with the CE250 and CE150 that are Vista compatabile. I have a CE100 (same machine as the CE200 just a different number of built in stitches and buttonholes and the 200 comes with autopunch and you have to buy ap for the 100) and have had no problems or issues with running it on XP. However, I think dh did have to turn the firewall, etc. off on XP on my computer to load the futura software and autopunch. Alas unless Singer comes out with an update for the 100 and 200 we'll all be stuck with running on XP versus Vista. Patsy Patsy
