THANK YOU! It means so much that my cyber friends remembered me!

Mmmm...Susie that cake looks incredible. Maybe it's even better than the one I didn't get! DH was VERY immersed in Harry Potter so he "blew off" my birthday. Add to the fact that I picked up a flu bug, so it wasn't a great day.:bluesad: He (DH) said he'd make it up to me today instead. So, just another day on the calendar.

and today is a much better day!
Peggy

So little time, sew much to do...........

Peggy, :bday: a day late. When I had my 50th birthday several years ago. DH & DD were out of town and I ended up spending my day/night in the ER and was in the hospital for 5 days. However, when I was discharged, my family made it up to me by taking me out to dinner and then giving me new specialty presser feet for my machines plus money for shopping. It was a memorable birthday. My ASG group also gave me a party which was fun. Hopefully, your DH will do the same for you when he's finished with the Harry Potter book.

Peggy that cake does look good but I hope you got a better day today. I've had some of those birthdays myself. Being born the day after christmas has always been less eventful. Everyone is tired of parties by the time the 26th comes around including me. One year my husband forgot my birthday and I was young and hurt but now a days it's just another day I can do without. It only means i'm getting older and I don't have to be reminded of that. LOL
I'm regressing back into my youth, I just have to figure out how I'm going to convience my body to come along with me.
