Hi All,
I just joined a couple days ago. I looked around and found lots of goodies.
I'm a single mom with 3 kids, 21, 18, 16. The oldest lives on her own. I've been off work since early May with cervical disk surgery pending. Tests, tests and more tests!!! I feel like a pin cushion! :bang:
I've been sewing for many years and have accumulated a bunch of machines. The main ones i use are my Janomes. I also have 1 antique Singer and 3 vintage machines. I enjoy serging, machine embroidery, digitizing with Embird, patchwork and children's clothing construction. I've recently became interested in smocking and heirloom sewing. That's how I found you.
Talk soon!

Welcome Beth. This is a great site and I'm sure you have some valuable information that we all can use so feel free to chime in. I underwent lumbar (L3/L4) surgery a month ago for a herniated disk that had two root nerves pressed up against a bone in my spine. It was actually the easiest surgery I've ever had but I'm still under restriction. Keep us posted on how your surgery goes.

Hi Beth from another Michigander - I'm in Southfield. I only have 3 machines - two Viking D1's and a Viking 910 serger that intimdates me no end. Glad to meet you!
