My Daugther In law Beth called me this evening while I was cooking supper and told me she is expecting AGAIN!!!! This is Emily's MOM. Emily is only 9 months old. I think I'm going to have to take my son on the side and tell him what's causing this. This is his 5th. I'll be his 3rd from Beth. I need a vacation bad!!!!
I'm regressing back into my youth, I just have to figure out how I'm going to convience my body to come along with me.

Congratulations again. It doesn't sound like he needs an explanation so much as a TV.

Oh well he'll be able to start his own basketball team soon.

Susie, congratulations on this new one's upcoming arrival. Things in life seem to go in cycles of 3. Now, you have even more grands to outfit (heehee). May God continue to bless you and your family.

The last 6 have been girls!!! I need a little boy. I love little boys they can be talked into anything. My sons oldest son who is 17 now hung up on his Daddy when he heard the news. I don't blame him poor kid he's the only boy and doesn't get any attention. LOL

She is going to have her tubes tied this time. She told me she was going to tell the doctor to make sure she cuts, ties AND burns them. She's DONE and I know he's done. My son is good with his babies so it's not so bad it's just they don't give me a break here. I guess I'll have to start Christmas shopping from now on in May.

As far as sewing for all of them I can't make them dresses fast enough. I have 4 little ones now and this one will make 5 and there is no way I can sew all them little foo foos before they grow out of them.

My Mother in Law had my BIL in June of 1950, my husband July 1951, my other BIL on Oct 18th 1952 and my SIL on May 1954. That was a day care center in itself. At that time they lived with my husbands grandmother who had 4 little ones herself. I bet that was fun at feeding time......or bath time or anytime.

The DIL that just had her baby had her tubes tied too so I only have one more that will be able to concieve after this one.

Thanks for all the well wishes, I think Katrina did a number on all these young peoples hormones. It's baby booming time again.

Congratulations!!
There's only a 16-month age difference between me and my little sister... and we've always lived as twins... always been best pals and done everything together. That was the best gift my parents could ever give me!! :bg:
(we also have an older brother and sister... there was only 5 years between the youngest and oldest of us. I still don't know how my mum did it!)

Good luck with it all, Susie.

Oh, to be blessed with another baby - how wonderful!
As soon as the girls get old enough (I'm not sure of all their ages) maybe you could teach them to sew things for themselves (3/4 size sewing machine as a Chrismas present or maybe those little sewing kits with the plastic needle?)
Better buy stock in Pampers - there's going to be alot of money being spent for diapers!
Congratulations!!!!

Susie, you & Raymond are catching up with us on the grands. We have 12. Ages 22 down to two 8 year olds. They are all done now. There for years we had babies coming out of the wood work or so it seemed. Loved every minute of it. I know you do too. Congrats on this one too.

Thanks everyone. Maureen, I have them in stages. I have some that are in their teens and some babies. The oldest girls had their machines I gave them when they were around 9 or 10. Cheap ones from Walmart but they loved them. Then hurricane Katrina hit and they lost their machines in the flood. I will try to get them another one but two of the oldest ones don't live close to me any more and that's hard because we were all so close to each other, they lived within walking distance of me. Now they are around 70 to 85 miles away.

They all have me wrapped around their little fingers so even though I think it's a bit much sometimes, I love them all and don't regret any of them. I might have to sell thimbles at Christmas time :nah: to fund their presents but we'll make it. LOL
I'm regressing back into my youth, I just have to figure out how I'm going to convience my body to come along with me.
