Hi! I just got one of these and I was wondering if anyone would share opnions, tips, thoughts on the machine with me. It is my first embroidery machine and computerized sewing machine! Please dont' be afraid to be honest either...

When I taught beginning machine embroidery at Hancock Fabrics, one of my students had this machine. It worked fine and she did some nice work with it. However, she wanted to do more and traded up for the new Brother 2500D. The 270D is a great basic machine. Marty
