Hi my name is Amy, I'm a 25 year old sahm(for the moment) in central Florida. I'm fairly new to sewing. I've completed a couple of projects for my little one. A twirly skirt a couple of years ago, a Halloween costume(A-line dress with tail). And more recently an apron top, another top, two pillowcase style dresses, a headkerchief, and a pair of capri pants. I may have forgotten something. I'm currently working on another top/dress(not sure what the finished length will be) from a pattern and an old shirt of mine. I'm not sure if this one will work out or not. I started with an incorrect chest measurement(that's what I get for starting a project when she wasn't home). I have added eyelets to the back of the top rather than the buttons/zipper that were called for, so I think it will work. If I can ever get the bottom ruffle to gather like I want, and attach it. |
