The top and ruffle of the shirt are from a dress/shirt pattern that I have. My dd was away when I started this and apparently she has grown in the past couple of weeks(the chest measurement I had was incorrect  ). So when she tried it on before placing the buttons/snaps it wouldn't close in the back (the original pattern has a zipper or snaps/buttons in the back). That's where the grommets/eyelets came in, this was my first time using them and I'm not totally happy with them but hope fully the lacing will cover some of the evil. Please tell me what you think(Good or bad)!!! Thanks for looking, Amy |
