Hi and thank you for the fast response. Your quilt is beautiful!! I could only find instructions for some of the squares, and I didn't realize that it would be so detailed and with a warm appearance. You did a great job! Have you been quilting for a long time? I found all instructions for the beginning quilting lessons which has 12 blocks, but I couldn't find a picture of that finished quilt. That's the one I started. Do you know about this one? I was born in Ft. Sam Houston, and I see you're from San Antonio. I am a Pennsylvanian--I have lived in PA for most of my life. Were you born in TX? Thanks again! Nancy |

Hi Nancy, actually the quilt that Gina pointed you to is my quilt. And I hate to say it but when I posted those pics the quilt was not finished. I decided to quilt it using the quilt-as-you-go method which I did by quilting each block separately and then adding the sashings and joining them that way. This pic is actually with just some of the blocks joined and the rest is the pieces of sashings just spread out in between. And I am still hanging my head as I am still working on that quilt...I'm actually doing the borders now. The has all 4 borders on but only two are quilted to this point. But I am hoping to have it done by the end of the month. I wasn't around when the other lessons and quilt were done so can't help you out on that one. TTFN from
