Mary, I may have put this in the wrong forum, so feel free to move it if you want to.

I've been coming to this site for about a year. I visit daily although alot of times I don't say anything. I'm still here with my cup of coffee. :D

In Jan. I started having some chest pain. I was under and still am alot of stress. The pain would come and go. The pain wasn't unbearable so I figured it was a warning. It was a warning alright. I had a mild heart attack on 2/18/03 and had to be hospitalized. Yesterday was the first day that I felt human since then.

I'm going to Tyler to a class tomorrow to learn about the angiogram that I will be having either Mon. or Tues.

I didn't tell all of you this to get attention. It makes me feel better when I talk about it and I can certainly use all the prayers I can get. I will miss all of you terribly. If the damage is mild I will only be gone for the day. If the damage is bad or I need bypass I will be gone for about 1 wk.

Thanks for listening.
Hugz,
Cindy~Texas

Wow, Cindy, I'll be prayin' for ya', and hoping everything is OK for you!

I didn't realize you lived in Mt. Pleasant; when you said "going to Tyler" I checked your profile. I live about an hour from you :)

Again, I'll be praying for you!!

Ya know Cindy we all feel like we're a family here on the boards and most families support one another. We're glad that you decided to share with us so we can pray for you and support you during this time in your life. I'll certainly be praying for you as I am sure a lot of the other ladies will be also. Please keep us posted.

I'll be thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers. Your post may have given a wake up call to someone else on the boards who has been experiencing chest pain, and got them to a doctor before they had problems. Again, I'll be remembering you in my prayers. Stress isn't worth all the health problems it causes. I speak from experience.

Cindy, we are all here for you. Talk as much and as freely as you like. That is what family is all about. Take care, I will be thinking of you when you have your tests.

sending hugs and prayers.

I'm glad you shared that with us. I think it's good to hear when some of you ladies might not be on the boards for a while. There's been several times that we didn't know why someone had not been here for a while. It makes us worry.
Thanks for telling us about it.
I'll be thinking good thoughts for ya. :bluesmile

Cindy I think you have helped some of us more than you know. I've been putting off a check up for sometime. I live under stress everyday with my children who are grown and my sewing and these boards help make my load a little lighter. We all have a common thread with on another it seems, we all care about our fellow friends. God Bless you and I'm hoping to hear good news from you soon. Susie

Thanks everyone for your replies, wishes, and prayers. Sure brightened my day. :bg: Gosh I was surprised to find out that someone I share a messageboard with is so close, Meg. When I get home from Tyler I will post when the angio-thingy is to be. Have a great day, my friends.
