The honeycomb stitch on my Bernette 680, which is just a very very simple beginner type machine w/ just 8 stitches, is not forming completely; the honeycombs are "open" not closed, if you can picture that! :o) Any ideas for troubleshooting? I'm not having any other problem with anything else at all.

I don't know your specific model, but almost all machines that have automatic reverse cycle stitches have some type of a balance control for the relationship of the forward and reverse stroke of the feed dogs. This will either be a separate control, or more likely, is affected by lessening the stitch length dial.

*Thank you!* I'll try the stitch length to start with. :bluewink:
