What in the world is a 'stuffed easter egg'? I somehow cannot visualize what it might be made of, or what it might look like!

A stuffed easter egg is made of brightly colored fabric and is shaped like an egg
it is to hang on an easter tree. i just need an egg pattern to cut the shape and sew it up to stuff

Perhaps you could use an egg-shaped cookie cutter to make a pattern, cut two of fabric, sew together(leaving an opening to turn), stuff, and then sew opening. A little interfacing might give it a bit more body.

Another idea would be to use styrofoam eggs, and cover them with fabric. To get a good 'fit', you may have to sew on the outside by hand, and then cover the seam with trim(e.g. rickrack, lace, ribbon, etc.)

Hope this helps.
Take care,
Donna
