Burrrrrr .......... today was cold and windy but I still managed to get out this morning and had breakfast with DH and then came home and went to Wal Mart bought a patten for a toddler, and some material, cute material, going to make all the grand neices sun dresses. They are the only ones who have little girls I can sew for. My GD's are all big 9 and 10 and not as fun to sew for. I found some cute appliques for the dresses all I need is some jumbo rick rack the pattern calls for and they didn't have any at Wal Mart. JoAnn's her I come.

I'll have to start making the dresses tomorrow. I'm too tired to start them tonight. I've been asked to teach swimming lessons at the elementary schools here and I've been doing that in the mornings for the last three weeks so it's cut in on my sewing time severely. LOL School will be out in June and I'll be back whole heartly then. That was my day, How was everyone else's?

My hubby plays hockey with a bunch of guys his age. We went over to one of the guys' house this afternoon to have a potluck. It was fun, but all I could think about is that I'd rather be sewing. :bg: Do you ever do that? Makes me feel a little guilty. :bg:

Spent aboutn an hour and a half in Hancock Fabrics between Sunday Morning Worship and Sunday evening services. Bought 3 patterns for capris, tops, etc. and fabric for a jacket to go with a dress that I'm making that I already have the fabric for. Now all I need is to make time to cut and sew. I t was sunny but still a little cool here in OKC today. (58 degrees).

We had a nice, quiet, lazy day. Quite out of the ordinary here. I never got dressed until noon. Of course, some guy dropped in to see hubby, but other than that, nothing much happened at all.

After supper, my daughter and I went out to our local live theatre and saw Dangerous Liasions. A nice day!

It SNOWED here all day. I still find it pretty but I've had enough, specially that it was 16 degrees Friday and Saturday. I spent the day cleaning up. Finally painted livingroom/diningroom/hallway. It's sooooooooo nice but what a pain as I live in a 1 bedroom apartment so it was a little crazy. Hung the last frame at around 4:00. I'm a happy camper.

Mine was very nice- my hubby was home this weekend. He surveys and designs farms for irrigation-rice and beans & etc. so at this time of year he travels ALOT. From now on he will be on the road for 6-8 weeks.
We rested, had a nap in th afternoon, very rare, and watched the war news.
Our redbuds & wild cherries are blooming , the Qzarks are so beautiful in the spring! Lots of Easter Lilies, too, tho some of you call em daffodils.
Now it's Monday-back to work and :bluesmile sewing.
