My teenager has a couple pair jeans that were the dirty look denim and after a few times being laundered, they look like regular denim. Is there any dye or anything I can do to restore this "cool" look. I've heard that washing them wrong side out will help keep the look, but its too late for that now. Thanks for any help or suggestions! Linda

you are talking about the brown tinge to the jeans that is achieved by using Iodine applied with a sponge.
The more you disaprove, the more fun I am having!

yes no too much it is like sponge a wall with glaze. we did it to a pair of jeans for my girlfriends dauthers. first we stressed the jeans with the sandpapper to give it the worn look then we took a clean kitchen sponge and applied the iodine. after a few washings she had to reapply but the savings is worth it.
