My Grandfather is terminally ill. And so my journey begins back to the 48. It looks like I will be leaving in a couple weeks. I was wondering if any of you have any recommended sewing shops for me to stop at along the way. (On the Alaska Hwy). Headed for Washington State. I will also be coming back a couple weeks after that. Im in a pickup by myself and my daughter... Anyone want a ride back to Alaska with me? Heather Anchorage, Alaska Yesterday is History...

Dear Snow Keeper, so sorry to hear about your Grandfather, I will pray for him. I don’t have any helpful hints for you, but boy, oh boy, I would love to make that journey with you! Love the snow (lived in Siberia), but do take care, it sounds like a very lonely drive! By the way, this Easter break I’ve made some ‘neck warmers’ (I remember you were asking about it). I made them from a stretchy, fleecy material, for my husband and myself. I have documented every step, as I tried a few ways of doing it, so if you still want any help with them, let me know. For my next one – I am going to make it out of fleece tomorrow. Good luck with your trip, take care and let us know when you get back. |
