I just finished Jennifer Chiaverinni's latest book The Quilters Legacy. It was once again a great read. Didn't get get for the great price Libby got her others for though. I'm going to be traveling soon and was wondering if anyone had any other great book suggestions???

I've been reading a series by Monica Ferris. She writes about
stitchery, not quilting, but they're fun anyway. (her shop in the series is Crewel World)(almost forgot..they're murder mysteries)

If you like cooking read the books by Diane Mott Davidson.
(her mystery solver is a caterer and she prints the recipies she uses in her story line)

There is a book I am reading slowly. LOL

It is very good, my daughter bought it for me. Called Women of Courage. Written by Katherine Martin. The stories are so inspiring, written by women activists, actresses, lawyers, etc.

They each tell about an event that took great courage. Most of the time, they weren't even aware they were being brave, just thought they were doing the right thing.

Thanks Mary and Chrysantha,

They both sound interesting. I'm going to be checking for them at the bookstore on lunch today!

My SIL told me about a book she loves right after we watched the movie "The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood".
It's called "Little Alters Everywhere". It's actually the book before the Ya-Yas.
I started it last night and couldn't put it down until after 1:00 am.
