I have been a Member since January 2002, and I was wondering how the title changes. Do I change the title? Do you change the title? I see other members Member dates that are about around the same time my is, and they are Seniors now. I was just checking!

Susie,

I have to agree with you, about the withdrawals. I say to myself darn I just need more time! I am very busy with quilting, crocheting, and learning how to knit that I have a hard time keeping up with my computer activities. Then I feel guilty for missing a whole month here, and missed everybody beside missing the new changes. They are terrific! I really like the new changes! It is so much easier, and I like it that when I post a message that the reply comes to my e-mail! I love that feature. I have a whole lot to catch up on. I feel that I have been away for a hundred years! I can't believe how much I have missed. I am trying to find everyone that I use to chat with here. I hope they remember me. Your right I need to post more, so that I can make that Senior level.......lol It sure is nice meeting you, Susie.

Same here Virginia, Everyone is so nice and helpful here. We do have a good group of ladies and gents too. LOL What amazes me is that people here are from all over the world and we can chat about something we all love. We have ladies here from Australia, Canada, England New Foundland, Islands in the Pacific, Germany, anyone I missed? Oh and us in the states. LOL We do have a varity of friends that's for sure. And I'm finding out so much about the cultural likenesses and differences. It's like Home Ec and History all rolled up into one. LOL Don't you just love it?

Oh yes, Susie that is what I really liked about this site is that everyone is so friendly and helpful. I think it is so cool to have friends from all over the world. I feel real special that I do. Yes, I do love it, and I learn something new everyday. It's great!

Last summer I was in the Applique class with Joanne. She is a wonderful teacher and friend. I had learned a lot about hand applique from her. I have so much UFO's that I keep putting my wallhanging aside. I would really like to get it finished! All I have to do to it is hand sew it, put the boarders on, bat and backing, and it will be done.

Well, doing the hand applique inspired me to go on to maching applique, and I had plucked out quite a few of those...lol I have been in several swaps involving machine applique that I have several quilts to put together. I am working toward getting all the different blocks into quilt top, and so on.

I am hoping to get a Quilting System sometime in the future, but in the meantime I am gearing toward sending my tops out to a professional machine quilter. Wish me luck.....lol

Good Luck Virginia, I am not a quilter but I too have three quilts I started and haven't finished. My daughter in law is having a fit that I haven't finished her's since last winter. That tells you where I am. LOL

That's how it goes, Susie, and my daughter is also waiting on a quilt that I had started a couple of years ago. I almost have the quilt done though. All I have to do now is finish putting the bat and backing together, then it is machine stitch and tied, and it will be done. It's a Log Cabin Quilt in a Day quilt. It will be beautiful when it is finished.

Sherri

I looked at that feature, and didn't know if I was to do the changes, so you mean even though I haven't posted 100 times to earn a new title I can change my title from Member to anything that I want?
