I am so tired of cold weather. It is sunny here now, but still cold. I can't wait for the nice hot days (both of them LOL) of summer. Anyone else ready to move down south. :bg:

Me Me Me.

We had a beautiful Easter weekend followed by three days of fog as thick as pea soup. YUCK. The big thrill of this time of year is trying to get rid of the 6 or more inches of water standing on our yards and entering contests to see when the river will break up. My bet is the first week of May. But if the sun doesn't come out soon I am going to loose.

I want the SUN.

Mr Sun Mr Sun Mr Golden Sun
Won't you please come shine on me.

Thankfully the days are getting longer we have about 18 or more hours of daylight right now. Which is an improvement over the 1 1/2 of dusk daily that we had at Christmas time.

I would love to have the weather we had at the beginning of the week. The snow was melting and the dugouts are full. Ours still had ice on it due to being sheltered. Woke up Thursday to cool temps with a lovely north wind and it has been snowing until the morning. Up 3 inches of the stuff on the ground right now. And cool also. Makes a person want to move south to Arizona right now.

For the second time this year, we were able to go out in sandals and t-shirts yesterday and they are forecasting the same for today; unfortunately, I have to work :bluesad:

Well, it finally turned nice again last night - there was a softness to the air. It got to 60F today and we went for a walk in sweatshirts. The coats got left at home. :bg:
There is still snow in the shaded areas but it is going slowly. I do hope that spring is here to stay this time.

Well, we've had warm weather here for several weeks now, but this week we've had RAIN RAIN and more RAIN. Today it was tornado warnings most of the time. :nervous: None touched down in our town, but several across the state.
Our yard is a huge mud puddle. The pond on our road is now into the road.
No need to be jealous of the weather we're having lately.
