Thanks to all of you for your prayers. My mother is in ICU now her lungs are in bad shape. She has Rumoitoid Arthritis (Sp?) and it's done a number on her lungs. They call it Rumoitoid Lungs it's when the lungs thicken and fill up with scar tissue. The scar tissue is very bad. I will keep in touch when I can. I haven't been able to get on the computer all the weekend but will when I can to let everyone know how she is. I miss all of you. :bluesad: :bluesad:

Hey everyone You are all so sweet to pray for my Mother. Thanks it must really be helping because today they put her on steriods and she is doing much better. Her appetite has gotten better and she seems to be breathing better. They didnt' have to do the scope of her lungs after all. She's still in ICU but may get out tomorrow and go in a regular room if she stays breathing like she was today. I feel a little ragged running around like I'm crazy and would love to be sewing but I must take care of more important things first and she is very important to me.

Thanks again I know I've got her on borrowed time but every minute counts.

Love to all Susie:love:

Susie, do hope your Mother continues to improve. You both are in my thoughts and prayers. Take care of yourself too. This is a very stressful time for both of you. Take time to put you feet up for a few minutes.

Dear Mother in Law,
I’ve been away on business for a few days, so missed out on a few things.
I am so happy to hear your mom is better! I know you must be totally exhausted, but hang in there, I am praying for you both and so does everybody else. Lots of love. For you

Mother Up Date............Mom is doing okay. She is so weak now. Sitting in hospital chairs is not my idea of fun. My back is killing me from having to jump up and down getting her things so today I took a day off and stayed home. My Dad is there with her and I've called there every hour to make sure evenything is going well. He's not a well man either. Thanks for all the prayers.

My dear Mother in Law, I know it’s hard, but you are so lucky to have your both parents alive! There is something my mother used to say to me when I said that if she dies, I would die with her. She said ‘It is hard to bury a parent, but it is much harder to bury a child’. She said it is the natural way of things that parents go first, because the other way around, they would be heart broken. I suddenly could see so clearly that I decided it would be a good thing if she went first, because I could not bear the pain she would have to go through if I was first. I know it will have to happen and I am preparing for it. I am thinking of you and praying for you. Lots of love.

Thank you Minx, You are so kind. My father passed away 23 years ago and the father I speak of is my step father. He is kind and good to my Mother and to us so he's like a father to me. It's easier to call him my father then my step dad although I call him my step dad, Andy, or my Dad depending on the circumstances. He lives for my Mom and my Mom lives for him. They both had good marriages until their spouses died from cancer and now they are happy with each other. I know if one goes the other will surely grieve to death for the other. They are both in their 70's and have been through a lot. I'm glad to have to few days I have left with both of them. I believe in God and know when they go it will be to a better place, so I won't be sad for them but instead it will be sadness for me not to have them here with me. I believe I will have no regrets when the time comes but I will have lots of fond memories to keep in my heart.

 Susie
