I am posting this for someone who emailed me privately.

I have purchased an old blind hemmer made by Pfaff. It has a half horse power motor. There is a dial which will keep on turning and has no starting or stopping place. How do I know the proper adjustment for this? It seems to have something to do with the amount of bite that the needle has out of the fabric. I think I just don't know how to adjust it properly. I think this will be a great help as soon as I am comfortable about using it.
Thanks,
Carol
